Prana-Life offers workshops, one to one therapies and classes to bring peace and relaxation to the mind and body.

We are all seeking balance and happiness. In the Western world we have access to everything we could ever need or want, however many of us feel we are living empty, unhappy lives.

Our lifestyles tend to mirror the state of the world; fast paced, forever changing with constant demands and pressure to achieve more.

Modern technology, the media and the general “over stimulation” of life is creating severe long-term effects on our well-being. The increasingly common emotional and physical problems that many of us suffer are in fact a direct result of twenty first century life.

At the same time there are powerful influences that keep telling us this is a wonderful world and we ought to be happy and healthy. The result is a conflict between how we really feel and how we think we should feel - which creates a further source of stress.

In an effort to cope, we can become caught in a vicious circle of negative thoughts and emotions. These influence our physical body and our outlook on life, further compounding effects of stress, to a point where we live almost entirely in our heads. We become preoccupied with our thoughts; become our own hardest critic, over time losing touch with the world and the people around us.

We can easily fall into a cycle in which we feel out of control of life, where there is no escape. The longer terms effects of stress can be felt in many different ways:
- as symptoms of depression and anxiety
- as physical symptoms
- as motivations for addictions
- as dysfunctional, unhappy relationships
- as empty, unhappy lives.

With awareness, we can reverse the damage we have caused to ourselves. Our minds and our thoughts that hurt us can be made to heal us. By reversing the negative cycle we can change how we think, feel and treat ourselves, allowing the mind and body to work together, helping us to recover and protect us from further stress.

Prana-Life offers up to date Western cognitive techniques and ancient Eastern practices. A combination of simple techniques that have been proven over centuries to help to start the journey towards finding peace and balance in today’s world.
