What is Reiki?
Reiki, a Japanese word pronounced ray-key, can be translated as
‘universal life energy'. This is the same as the Chinese ‘chi' or
Indian ‘prana'.. Reiki is a system of healing energy that activates
the body's natural ability to heal itself. It is a safe, natural and
holistic way of treating many acute and chronic conditions, bringing
about a general feeling of well-being.
The Benefits of a Reiki Treatment

spiritually and hence physically. It supports the body’s own
natural ability to heal itself
- The treatment can be helpful to balance emotions and help us

Reiki is a simple yet powerful tool, which may be applied to healing
yourself, family & friends, animals plants and situations
To be able to perform Reiki you need to be “Attuned” to become a
channel for Reiki energy. There are three stages of the “Attunement”
process:
REIKI I
The first degree level, gives the student their basic
instruction, enabling them to explore working with Reiki. Both for
self healing and to treat others. Opening yourself to Reiki energy
encourages personal growth. The practice of Reiki unfolds and flows
nor just from our hands but also our hearts through our actions,
thoughts and feelings
REIKI II
The second degree level teaches the student the sacred Reiki
symbols. It generally increases their scope to work on a much
broader scale. In addition teaches the student to use distant
healing
REIKI MASTER TEACHER
A more in depth training, details available on
request
It is advisable for a period of time to elapse between each degree.
